Ulverstone Judo Club is situated in the beautiful beachside town of Ulverstone. The club was under the long running tutelage of John Deacon, a past-President of the Judo Federation of Australia, and used to train in the West Ulverstone Showgrounds. Under his leadership, the club outgrew the premises and the club acquired a new dojo at Water St. in East Ulverstone.
The Ulverstone Judo Club has since grown again, and now boasts state of the art facilities at its present site, the Ulverstone Sports & Recreation Centre, 1 Flora Street, West Ulverstone. The club is well-patroned and is lead by a very capable coaching staff.
