The North West Gradings will be held at the Ulverstone Judo Club on Tuesday 23rd & Wednesday 24th of May. Junior grading will be conducted on the Tuesday with Senior grading on the Wednesday.

On Wednesday 5th of April the Today Show did a story on the upcoming Masters Games at Pier 1 in Ulverstone. There was a wide range of sports including Judo. The Ulverstone Judo Club was asked to put on a Judo demonstration.

The Australian Masters Games will be held on the North West Coast of Tasmania from the 21 – 28 of October 2017.
The Australian Masters Games is an event where people over 30 years old can compete in a wide variety of sports.
Judo is one of the many sports on offer.

Judo will be held on:
– Saturday 21 Oct: 9:00am – 4:00pm
– Sunday 22 Oct, Monday 23 Oct: 9:00am – 5:00pm
The Venue will be the Ulverstone Judo Club, 1 Flora Street, West Ulverstone.

The next State Training will be on Saturday 25th of March at 9am at the Launceston University Dojo. This session will be run by Nationally accredited coaches to prepare Tasmanian Judo players for the upcoming 2017 Australian Championships.
Even if you do not plan on competing at Nationals, still come and train there will be plenty of Judo and lots of fun.

The 2017 Tasmanian State Titles will be hosted by the Devonport Judo Club. The venue is the Devonport Recreation Centre on Forbes Street.
This will be a great competition as the competitors will be fighting for the chance to represent Tasmania at the National Championships.
Come along and support Judo in Tasmania.
